31st, 2008 - It's COLD here in Falkland! We've been experiencing -20
weather for the last couple of weeks and we can't WAIT for spring to arrive.
The horses think it's pretty cool though....there they are frolicking in the
snow like it's no big deal. Candy and Te our pregnant mares are not too
active, but they do seem quite content with themselves. The other girls are
playing like boys! It's wonderful to look out the window and see such joy
because of the snow! Growing up on the coast, we've never experienced these
white out conditions...but heck it will be spring eventually...and we go
through this snow because our spring/summer and fall are just SOOOOO
beautiful! |
