Double T Ranch is owned an operated by Tony and Tammy
Wolzen and their kids. After looking for the perfect property for years,
they finally found Double T Ranch in Falkland in the Winter of 2005. They
took possession of the property in the Spring of 2006. The property consists
of 40 acres split into 4 main pastures and 2 hillside pastures.
About Tammy: Tammy has been riding
since the age of 5. In her youth she concentrated on hunter/jumper training.
Having owned many different types of horses including thoroughbreds and
trakheners she has now returned to her first love, quarter horses and
paints. Her two personal horses, Brody and Junior are both well trained APHA
geldings for trails. Trail Riding up country is not a walk in the park,
there are many obstacles to overcome such as steep hills, forests, lakes &
rivers so her emphasis for her horses are steady, brave horses that go
well in any situation she throws at them.
About Tony: Tony has been riding since
he was 7. His current horse Sonny is a stout red roan quarter horse that is
brave and sure-footed on the trails. His most memorable time with horses was
in 1986 when he rode with his dad and brother in the Ride of a life time
which went from 100mile to Expo 86.
Tony and Tammy also have two children, both of which are involved with
the horses. The kids also enjoy riding their ATV's up the trails and
generally enjoying the natural beauty that surrounds them at Double T Ranch! |
